These tiny bites are PACKED with adaptogenic herbs, are super nutrient dense, and of course, they’re totally delsihhh. What does it taste like you ask? Welll… let’s just say if a turmeric and pumpkin spice latte had a love child... these energy bites would be that love child 😆

You should know that your body is an adaptation maaachine. It has this insane ability to adapt to all sorts of changing physical environments (i.e producing more melanin when your skin is overexposed to sunlight) and even mental states (i.e releasing hormones to combat stress & anxiety) on its own naturally. But sometimes we need a little outside help 🙋🏼‍♀️ Enter: adaptogenic herbs. Turmeric and ginger (among many others) are spices that you should def add into your diet to reap the benefits they offer.

Adaptogens are a unique class of healing plants that help balance, restore and protect the body. Turmeric has amazing anti-inflammatory properties and great supplement for joint pain. Ginger can help regulate cortisol levels, increase energy and stimulate digestion. It also relieves nausea and lowers inflammation. .

In addition, there’s also collagen peptides that promotes skin health, cinnamon that helps stabilize blood sugar, Sun Potion’s Lion’s Mane Mushroom Powder that claims to improve cognitive function and not to mention tasty, warming nutmeg - all packed in these little bites. Told ya they were nutrient dense AF!

Included in this recipe is the six ingredient Golden Mylk spice mix listed below, but it can also be used to make Turmeric Lattes! The recipe for the spice mix makes about 7 tablespoons so you can store it in a mason jar for later use.

What is Lion’s Mane Mushroom Powder? Here’s an excerpt taken from Sun Potion’s Website that explains its health benefits along with some source links for you to check out:

”The most well-developed research on the benefits of Lion’s Mane focuses on its cognitive functions, with new studies pointing to its powerful abilities when used by people who have Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease (1).

Lion’s Mane is used often for brain health; recently there was a study conducted on 50 to 80-year-old Japanese men and women who were diagnosed with “mind cognitive impairment” who participated in a controlled, double blind study where the use of Lion’s Mane mushroom showed “significantly increased scores” on their cognitive function performance. The results obtained in this study suggest that Yamabushitake (Lion’s Mane) is effective in improving mind cognitive impairment (2).”

I love the holistic side of health and finding alternative supplements (especially if it’s backed by scientific studies) such as this one and the many other products that Sun Potion offers. I like to use 1/2 tsp in my morning blended coffee mixture which also includes collagen peptides, mct oil, almond milk and cinnamon.

If you’ve followed me for any amount of time, you know that I only promote products that I truly use and truly love. And you also know that I have nooo problem sharing my true feelings about a product ESPECIALLY if it isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

My main objective is to provide you with products that I think are worth your time and money, offer my personal opinion and share products that have worked well for me. I will always only promote products that I fully trust and believe in. I’ve turned down a lot of companies (and will continue to do so) if their values and product does not align with mine.
