5 Ingredient Ferrero Rocher Truffles

What a time to be alive. Healthier Ferrero Rocher truffles do in fact exist with the perfect combo of these five ingredients. Inspired by Further Food's recipe, I made these classic treats with a healhy twist and was nottt disappointed!  

Listed among these five ingredients, antioxidant-rich cacao (not to be confused with cocoa)  is the source of original, natural chocolate as it comes from the fruit seeds of the cacao tree. Unfortunately, milk chocolate is just imitating #TheRealOG cocao, as oftentimes well-known brands like Mars and Cadbury doesn't contain it — which means it does not have the nutrient-packed phytochemicals that our bodies need. #WillTheRealChocolatePleaseStandUp 

Organic, raw cacao is a superfood containing a variety of unique phytonutrients, including high amounts of sulfur, magnesium and phenylethylamine. Don't ask me to pronounce that last one properly, but these characteristics provide many benefits, such as focus and alertness, while also keeping you in a great mood. Cacao nibs have more antioxidant activity than tea, wine, blueberries and even goji berries. Ultimately, it’s the flavonoids in cacao that makes it an above-and-beyond superfood.
